These pots with holes in their sides are the perfect containers for epiphytic orchids which prefer having their roots exposed to the air and require good drainage. Use orchid bark or moss as a planting medium in these pots. Other pots can also be used for orchids such as broad, shallow containers which allow orchid roots to grow horizontally, or tall narrow containers which showcase those with broad leaves such Phalaeonopsis.
