These groundcovers grow low enough to fill in the spaces between and around stepping stones. Generally slow growing, these can be planted as plugs every 6-8 inches, allowing them to fill the spaces in a timely manner. All tolerate some foot traffic and some may need occasional shearing around the edges of the stepping stones.
